'JEH'-A Life Of J.R.D TATA

Hello wonderful people,

Its been long i couldn't write review due to priorities preference.I m not saying this is not my priority but balancing between  personal and professional life is sometimes bit difficult.
Well for now keeping aside my  life discussion  and hitting back to review  books that i read in past months.

The book that i m going to talk about is not the normal fiction book or some type of fantasy but this time its biography. What interest me the idea of reading the biography is the thinking process of the successful people ,sharing experiences and the situation they faced when technology wasn't even concreted or developed in that era.

One of the business tycoon, philanthropist and renowned personality of the India:"J.R.D TATA" who was also called as " Jeh" by his loved ones.

Book have  covered the  life journey of J.R.D TATA from being  french born to the TATA Group Industrialist. His love for aviation from very young age brought the JRD to TATA Airlines, later became "Air India".It was once the  largest airlines in Indian subcontinent. He was the country first licensed pilot.

He helped and established the TATA Memorial Center for Cancer, Research and Treatment in 1941.
JRD was highly concerned about the welfare of his workers by providing good working conditions, free medical aid and accidental compensation.
He was awarded India's highest civilian honor, the "Bharat Ratna" in 1992 for his selfless service towards humanity.

Biography talks about how he have turned his dreams in to reality along with welfare of the people in India.Over the years how he have expanded the TATA empire to different domains and streams touching the lives of many people.

This book gives sense of understanding that its not only your dreams that grows but along with it the people or tribe that walks with you also grow ,giving back to society for sake of humanity.

Let me end this post by the beautiful words said by J.R.D TATA:

"I know that aiming at perfection has its drawbacks. It makes you go in to details that you can avoid but that is the only way you can achieve excellence. So,in that case, being finicky is essential."

One of his famous  and known books "Who moved my Cheese?","One minute Manager" was the bestseller. Unfortunately this year we lose him on 3rd July 2017.
