Natural Language Processing - A language which helps computer to understand human language !

Hello All,
This time i came across something new apart from the regular knowledge shared to you so far from books, categorizing under different genres. While reading you get to know loads of new stuff like the advancement in digital world.
Yesterday when i was going through similar sort of article and reading though, my eye fall on the terminology called "NLP" which led to my curiosity  to look further for this key term.
And to my surprise, it has lot to do with our regular daily routine or may be daily needs.

NLP called  as " Natural Language Processing" is defined as the branch of artificial intelligence that helps computers understand, interpret and manipulate  human language.( Ref: www.sas.com).

I always used to wonder  how the computer understands the human language or text to speech recognition, however i have learned in my bachelor of computers about the machine language of 1's and 0's.It was easy for us as a student to convert the typed text to machine language, still the same process can be feed in computer operating system about the letters and texts. What interest me is the speech conversion and after some research on google realized that computer have different sets of intelligence  uses to understand the language that human speak.

Human language is astounding complex and diverse. It comprises of varieties of texts, accents, slang, emotions, sounds, pronunciation, etc which mired up to form language and categories in computer with array of words, sentences, contexts, categorizing in different sets of groups .NLP helps such context in coordination with artificial intelligence and deep learning to provide the response through machine or computer or bots.

There are such good examples of bots like Alexa, Siri, etc which are showcasing the NLP generation and made humans life more easy and portable. You ask anything to such bots and it converts human language and response in few seconds  with help of NLP without any delay, irrespective of the whatever be the request or queries.

I must say in some years from now we will start living in the world of Robots where human will be seen lesser. This reminds the hollywood movie of Robots ruling the planet.

What do you think are we  becoming dependent on technology or independent of our own lives?

Thanks for reading !
